Fair Oaks Says Good-bye to Dr. Horace Crandell
Dr. Horace Crandell succumb to cancer September 2nd. Dr. Crandell was president of the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce and very active in many community activities.
The Fair Oaks community turned out Friday September 8th for a memorial service at the Village Chapel. The Village Singers sang and Roy Edward delivered the eulogy which include a brief history of Dr. Crandell’s life. Roy is transcribing his eulogy and it will be available on the internet version of the Fair Oaks Voice and at the Fair Oaks Library soon.

Brick Sale Ends in October
The Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce is selling "Signature Bricks" to replace the crosswalks at the intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and California Avenue. The Centennial Beautification Project also includes a mosaic type oak tree, which is about 15 feet in diameter and inlaid in the center of the intersection.
Come join the fun and buy a brick with your favorite message engraved on it, or your family's name! Maybe you prefer a brick with your business name, or possibly a club or service organization's name inscribed on it.
Leave your indelible mark for the future generations and become a permanent part of Fair Oaks at the same time!!!
