Western Jamboree Reception
The Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to attend the Western Jamboree Honorary Mayor's Reception and dance which will be held on Friday this year, May 3, 1996, from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. at the Community Clubhouse - 7997 California Avenue - Fair Oaks, CA. We will be announcing the new Honorary Mayor of Fair Oaks. There will be an all you can eat Chuckwagon BBQ, music and line dancing with instruction from the Tumbleweed Dancers. Admission is a $12.50 donation.
We will be honoring our three candidates: Warren McWilliams, Susan Wanier and Craig Yost.

Frog Jump
Fair Oaks Fiesta Frogs fly at noon on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5. The frog jump is officially sanctioned by the Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee. The frog jump winners are automatically entered in the grand finals at Calaveras.
Frog jockeys to compete for trophies and ribbons at the Fair Oaks Fiesta. Entry fees are $4 for adults and $3 for children under age 12.
Come cheer on the green croakers as they hurtle to fame at the Fair Oaks Fiesta Frog Jump, in Plaza Park, from noon to 4:00, Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5.
Racy's Toilet "Bowl" Challenge
The Fair Oaks Fiesta would not be complete without the Racy's Toilet "Bowl" Challenge. The toilet bowl race teams consist of 3 team members, two push the racer and one sits on the "commode"!!! All drivers are required to wear protective gear. Awards will be given for the fastest team, the most original racing "commode" and the most original dress. No motorized racers of any type are allowed.
The race will be held on Saturday, May 4, 1996, shortly after the Parade. Meet us on Fair Oaks Boulevard, in front of Plaza Park for the race!!! There is a $10.00 entry fee.

Sixteenth Annual Fair Oaks Fiesta Sun Run
The Sixteenth presentation of the Fair Oaks Fiesta Sun Run, Walk, & Kid's Run will take place on Sunday, May 5, 1996. The course will take you through the Old Village area of Fair Oaks, with the run taking you through a portion of the American River Parkway. Participants will be eligible to win merchandise and exciting prizes. For further information, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 967-2903.
1996 Fair Oaks Fiesta Parade
Come join us for the famous Fair Oaks Fiesta Parade! This year's Fiesta Parade will be held Saturday, May 4th. This popular parade begins at 10:00 a.m. from Fair Oak Elementary School.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Registration forms may be obtained from the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce, 967-2903. Registration the day of the Parade is at Fair Oaks School at 8:30 am.
Trophies will be awarded for all category winners. See map on page 6.
Fair Oaks Fiesta Days Car Show
The Fair Oaks Fiesta Days Car Show will be held on May 5, 1996. Judging will be by People's Choice. Last year over 300 vehicles entered the show and over 2,000 spectators voted on the People's Choice Award. No entry fee.
